Sustainability Data Sheets

Make more informed material and product design decisions using our Sustainability Data Sheets.
Choose a material type:

ABS

ABS is an amorphous terpolymer made by emulsion or mass polymerisation of acrylonitrile and styrene in the presence of polybutadiene. It is a widely used thermoplastic, principally for extrusion & injection moulding, and offers superior mechanical properties such as impact resistance, toughness, and rigidity.

Nylon

Nylon is commonly used in the automotive industry due to its high heat resistance and good resistance to oils and fuels. However, with its well-balanced mechanical properties and suitability for being glass filled it can be used throughout multiple applications.

Polyethylene (PE)

Polyethylene (PE) is the most widely used polymer in the flexible & rigid packaging industry, including injection moulded articles, and offers an excellent set of properties for these applications, including strength, rigidity, sealability and barrier to water. It is manufactured in a range of densities & melt flows and either as a homopolymer or copolymer.

Polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene (PP) is a low-density polymer widely used throughout the industry and especially in injection moulding. Having a very good strength to weight ratio means that costs and material usage can be kept to a minimum.
