Plastribution achieves ISCC PLUS accreditation for traceable polymer supply

Plastribution Group, the UK’s leading distributor of polymer raw materials, has been awarded the ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification). The accreditation supports its ongoing commitment to providing customers with sustainable and traceable polymer solutions.

The certification, issued by Aardvark Certification, confirms that Plastribution complies with the stringent requirements of the globally recognised ISCC PLUS standard. Covering the company’s Ashby-de-la-Zouch headquarters and warehouse operations, the accreditation validates Plastribution’s role as a Trader with Storage under the Mass Balance chain of custody model.

Valid until August 2026, the certification confirms that Plastribution’s supply chain management meets the required standards for handling and distributing sustainable materials, ensuring complete traceability and transparency.

ISCC PLUS certification is an internationally recognised sustainability standard for circular and bio-based economies. It offers independent verification of compliance in areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, sustainable land use, protection of natural biospheres, and social sustainability.

Commenting on the achievement, Katherine White, managing director at Plastribution, said: “Achieving ISCC PLUS certification is another important milestone in our sustainability journey. It provides our customers with the assurance that Plastribution can reliably support their transition towards more sustainable material choices, backed by recognised international standards.

“We are proud to have achieved this certification, which underlines our long-term commitment to responsible sourcing and supply chain transparency.”
